Alberta Beef Producers Daily Report: Alberta CA

Alberta direct cattle sales Tuesday saw no new trade to report, but there is a chance scattered trade could develop by this afternoon. Technical price levels have improved from the beginning of the week. Packers remain comfortably bought out in front and it will be tough to get any leverage. Sellers are in ways torn, strong basis levels last week would suggest sell the cattle but negative feeding margins could have some producers fighting the market and adding weight to the cattle.
