Slaughter Cattle:  

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trade and demand was moderate in Kansas. Compared to last week, live purchases traded 1.00 lower at 111.00. Trade was light on moderate demand in the Texas Panhandle, Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. Not enough purchases in those regions for an adequate market test. The latest established market in the Texas Panhandle was last week with live purchases from 111.00-112.00. Last week in Nebraska, live purchases traded from 112.00-114.00 with dressed purchases from 182.00-185.00. In the Western Cornbelt for the previous week live purchases traded mostly at 115.00 with dressed purchases from 182.00-185.00.

Alberta Beef Producers Daily Report: Alberta CA

Alberta direct cattle sales Tuesday saw no new trade to report but there is a chance scattered trade could develop by this afternoon. Technical price levels have eased from since Monday. There have been rumblings packers are trying to pull some August contracts ahead of schedule.
