Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in Nebraska. Compared to last week live cash trades moved mostly steady at 95.00. Thus far for the week the bulk of dressed cash trades have moved steady to 10.00 lower at 150.00. Thus far for Wednesday in the Southern Plains and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been very limited on very light demand. A few live cash trades in the Texas Panhandle moved from 95.00 to 100.00. In Kansas a few live cash trades moved from 90.00 to 100.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. Last week live cash trades in the Texas Panhandle moved from 95.00 to 100.00. In Kansas live cash trades moved at 100.00. Not enough cash trades in the Western Cornbelt on Wednesday for a full market trend.  Thus far for the week dressed cash trades have moved steady from 150.00-160.00 when compared to the prior week. Thus far for the week a few live cash trades have moved unevenly steady from 93.00-101.00, with the bulk at 100.00, when compared to the previous week.
