Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading has been very limited on very light demand in the Southern Plains. In the Texas Panhandle a very few live trades moved at 95.00. In Kansas a very few live trades moved at 96.00. Not enough trades for a full market trend. Last week live cash trades in the Texas Panhandle moved from 95.00 to 100.00. In Kansas live cash trades moved at 100.00. So far for Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow with light to moderate demand. In Nebraska a few live trades moved from 93.75 to 95.00 and dressed trades moved from 150.00 to 160.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. Thus far for the week the bulk of live and dressed trades have been at 95.00 and 150.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt, for Thursday, a few live trades moved from 95.00 to 100.00 and dressed trades moved from 147.00 to 160.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. Thus far for the week the bulk of live and dressed trades have been from 90.00 to 100.00 and 150.00 to 160.00, respectively.
