Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated trade was limited on light to moderate demand in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. Trade was inactive on light demand in the Southern Plains. Not enough purchases in any feeding region for an adequate market test. The latest established market in any region was on Wednesday, with live purchases in the Southern Plains from 95.00-110.00, bulk at 110.00. In Nebraska on Wednesday live purchases traded at 95.00 with dressed purchases from 145.00-180.00, bulk at 150.00. Dressed purchases on Wednesday in the Western Cornbelt traded from 145.00-180.00, bulk at 180.00. The latest established live market in the Western Cornbelt was last week with purchases from 93.00-100.00.
