Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in all feeding regions. In the Southern Plains a few live trades moved at 120.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. The last fully reported market in the Texas Panhandle was on Tuesday with live trades at 110.00. In Kansas the last fully reported market was on Wednesday with live trades at 115.00. So far for Friday in Nebraska a few live and dressed trades moved from 119.00 to 120.00 and at 190.00, respectively. However, not enough for a full market trend. The last fully reported market was on Wednesday with the bulk of live and dressed trades at 110.00 and 180.00, respectively. Thus far for Friday in the Western Cornbelt not enough trades for a market trend. The last fully reported market was on Wednesday with the bulk of live and dressed trades moved at 115.00 and 180.00, respectively.
