Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand in the Southern Plains and Western Cornbelt. In Nebraska negotiated cash trading has been slow with light to moderate demand. In Nebraska a few live and dressed trades moved at 120.00 and from 180.00 to 190.00, respectively. However, not enough trades for a full market trend in any feeding region. In the Southern Plains the last reported market was on Thursday. In the Texas Panhandle live trades moved from 115.00 to 120.00. In Kansas the bulk of live trades moved at 115.00. In Nebraska the last reported live trade market was on Thursday with trades from 112.00 to 120.00 and the last dressed trade market was on Wednesday with trades ranging from 178.00 to 190.00. In the Western Cornbelt the last reported live and dressed trade market was on Wednesday with live trades mostly at 115.00 and dressed trades ranging from 175.00 to 185.00, respectively.
