Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, trade was slow on light to moderate demand in all feeding regions. Compared to Wednesday in the Texas Panhandle, live purchases traded 12.00 lower at 105.00. In Kansas compared to Wednesday, live purchases traded 5.00-12.00 lower at 105.00. In Nebraska compared to Wednesday, dressed purchases traded steady to 10.00 lower at 175.00. A few live purchases traded from 105.00-110.00, however not enough for an adequate. The latest established live market in Nebraska was on Wednesday with live purchases from 109.00-117.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few dressed purchases traded at 175.00, however not enough for an adequate market test. The latest established market in the Western Cornbelt was on Wednesday with live purchases from 108.00-110.00, bulk at 110.00 and dressed purchases from 175.00-185.00.
