Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, trade was moderate on light to moderate demand in Kansas. Compared to Wednesday in Kansas live purchases traded mostly steady ranging from 96.00-102.00, bulk from 100.00-102.00. Trade was slow on light demand in all other regions, however not enough purchases for an adequate market test. The latest established market in the Texas Panhandle was on Wednesday, with live purchases from 100.00-102.00, bulk at 102.00. On Wednesday in Nebraska, live purchases traded from 98.00-102.00 with dressed purchases from 157.00-162.00, bulk at 162.00. On Wednesday in the Western Cornbelt, dressed purchases traded from 160.00-162.00. The latest established live market in the Western Cornbelt was on Tuesday with live purchases from 99.00-102.00.
