Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, in the Southern Plains and Nebraska negotiated cash trading has slow with light to moderate demand. In the Texas Panhandle, when compared to last week, the bulk of live trades moved 5.00 to 7.00 lower from 93.00 to 97.00. In Kansas, when compared to the last reported market on Wednesday, the bulk of live trades moved steady to 2.00 higher at 97.00. In Nebraska a few live and dressed trades moved at 95.00 and 155.00, respectively. However, not enough for a market trend. The last reported market was on Wednesday with live trades from 95.00 to 98.00 and dressed trades from 155.00 to 156.00. So far for Thursday in the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been inactive on very light demand. Not enough trades for a market trend. The last reported live trade market was on Tuesday with trades at 98.00. The last reported dressed trade market on Wednesday with trades from 153.00 to 156.00.
