Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading has been inactive on very light demand in the Southern Plains. Not enough purchases for a market trend. The last reported market was on Wednesday with live purchases at 96.00. Thus far for Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited with light to moderate demand. In Nebraska a few live and dressed purchases moved steady at 98.00 and 158.00, respectively, when compared to the last reported market on Wednesday. In the Western Cornbelt not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market with live and dressed purchases from 99.00 to 100.00 and 158.00, respectively. So far for Thursday in Colorado negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. The last reported market was on Wednesday with live purchases at 98.00.
