Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday in Kansas, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In Kansas a few live purchases traded steady at 123.00 when compared to Thursday. Not enough purchases in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt for a market trend. In Nebraska last week live purchases traded from 125.00-127.00 and dressed purchases traded at 200.00. In the Western Cornbelt the previous week live and dressed purchases traded at 127.00 and from 200.00- 205.00, respectively. Thus far for Friday in the Texas Panhandle negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. On Thursday live purchases traded at 123.00.
