How Do I Report A Suspected New World Screwworm Case?

Early reporting helps animal health professionals track infestations, direct resources where they are needed most, and respond quickly to emerging threats.  

Report suspected cases to:

The USDA at Screwworm.gov

The Texas Animal Health Commission State Veterinarian: 1-800-550-8242

The Texas Department of Agriculture: 1-800-TELL-TDA

To report suspected cases in Texas wildlife, contact your local game warden or  Texas Parks & Wildlife at 512-389-4505.  

TDA also maintains a voluntary database of reported sightings and suspected infestations. You may file an additional report here.
