Farm Fresh Initiative Supports Child Nutrition
Texas schools, summer meal programs, and child care centers can connect with local agriculture through the Farm Fresh Initiative, an exciting way to help young Texans develop strong and sustainable connections to local food, farmers and ranchers. The Farm Fresh Initiative also teaches children about local agriculture by adding the regional flavor of Texas products to program meals and snacks.
