Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill in Kansas and Nebraska. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been inactive on very light demand. Not enough trades for a market trend in any feeding region. Last week in Kansas and Nebraska live cash trades moved at 124.00 and dressed trades, in Nebraska, moved mostly at 199.00. For the prior week in the Western Cornbelt live cash trades moved mostly from 124.00-125.00 and dressed trades moved mostly at 198.00.
