Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trade and demand was moderate in all feeding regions. Compared to last week, live purchases in the Southern Plains and Nebraska traded steady at 124.00. Early dressed purchases in Nebraska traded from 199.00-200.00, however not enough for an adequate market test. Last week in Nebraska, dressed purchases traded at 200.00. In the Western Cornbelt, a few early purchases were reported from 123.00-124.00 and from 198.00-199.00 respectively, however not enough for an adequate market test. Last week in the Western Cornbelt, live purchases traded from 124.00-126.00 with dressed purchases mostly at 200.00.
