If TDA does not receive your license renewal fee by the license’s expiration date, TDA will assess a late fee. 
The Texas Legislature defines these late fees in statute.

90 Days or Less - 50% of License Fee 
        For license renewals that are between 1 day and 90 days late, the late fee is 50% of the license fee.  
        For example, if your license fee is $200, the total due would be $300.00 ($200 +  $100).

90 Days or More - 100% of License Fee 
        For license renewals that are between 91 days and 365 days late, the late fee is 100% of the license fee.  
        For example, if your license fee is $200, the total due would be $400.00 ($200 +  $200).

Late Fee Waivers
       Under certain special circumstances, TDA may waive late fees.  TDA shall have final authority to determine 
       whether you qualify for a waiver.  <more info>
