Alberta Beef Producers Daily Report:

Alberta direct cattle sales last week saw prices trend mostly steady with the previous week. Most dressed sales were at $270/cwt delivered. The Alberta weighted average fed steer did move slightly higher to $160.83 and set a new annual high price. Fed prices are about $5/cwt higher than year ago. Fed supplies should remain moderate as yearlings get cleared up and most fed calves are still a few weeks away from being market ready.
