Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on moderate demand in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. Thus far for the week, in Nebraska, a few live trades have moved at 119.00 and a few dressed trades moved from 188.00-194.00. Thus far for the week, In the Western Cornbelt, a few live trades have moved at 120.00 and a few dressed trades have moved at 188.00. So far for Friday in Kansas trading has been inactive on very light demand. Not enough trades for a market trend. The last fully reported market in Kansas was on Thursday with live trades at 119.00.

Alberta Beef Producers Daily Report: Alberta CA
Alberta direct cattle sales Wednesday saw light trade develop with dressed sales reported at 260.00 delivered. Sales are steady to 2.00 higher than the previous week. Two out of the three western Canadian packers bought cattle this week. Some producers were indicating cattle that they sold this week would be delivered before Christmas while others were indicating cattle would not be delivered until early January. Light volumes of Western Canadian fed cattle traded into the US and prices were comparable with local sales.
