Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday, negotiated cash trading has been very limited on very light demand in Kansas and Nebraska. A very few early live cash trades moved at 105.00. In the Texas Panhandle and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. Not enough trades for a market trend in any feeding region. Last week in all major feeding regions live cash trades moved mostly at 112.00. In Nebraska dressed cash trades ranged from 175.00-180.00. In the Western Cornbelt dressed cash trades ranged from 178.00-180.00. A light test was noted in all regions.

Boxed beef cutout values lower on Choice and higher on Select on light to moderate demand and moderate to heavy offerings. Select and Choice chuck cuts higher while round cuts steady to firm. Choice rib and loin cuts lower while Select steady.
