Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in all major feeding regions. In the Southern Plains, a few live cash trades moved steady at 105.00 when compared to the last reported market on Tuesday. In Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt, a few dressed cash trades moved at 168.00. However, not enough for a full market trend. A light test was noted in all regions. Last week in Nebraska live cash trades moved mostly at 112.00 and dressed cash trades ranged from 175.00-180.00. In the Western Cornbelt dressed cash trades ranged from 178.00-180.00. A light test was noted in these regions.
