Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday, negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill in Southern Plains. In Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been very limited on very light demand. Not enough trades for a market trend. Last week in all feeding regions live cash trades moved at 105.00. In Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt dressed cash trades moved at 168.00. A light test of cash trades was noted in all feeding regions.

Boxed beef cutout values higher on Choice and sharply higher on Select on moderate to good demand and moderate to heavy offerings. Select and Choice rib and loin cuts steady to firm while round cuts firm to higher. Choice chuck cuts lower while Select higher.
