Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand in all major feeding regions. Compared to last week in the Southern Plains the bulk of live cash trades have moved steady at 105.00. In the Nebraska compared to the prior week live cash trades have moved steady to 11.00 lower from 94.00 to 105.00 and the bulk of dressed cash trades have moved steady to 13.00 lower from 155.00 to 168.00. In the Western Cornbelt when compared to the previous week live cash trades have moved steady to 10.00 lower from 95.00 to 105.00 and dressed cash trades have moved steady to 18.00 lower from 150.00 to 168.00 So far for the week a very light test of cash trades has been noted in all feeding regions.
