Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated trade has been very limited on light demand in all feeding regions. A few early live purchases in Kansas were reported at 100.00, however not enough purchases in any region for an adequate market test. On Tuesday in the Texas Panhandle live purchases traded mostly at 100.00. In Nebraska on Tuesday the bulk of live purchases traded at 95.00 with dressed purchases mostly at 150.00. On Tuesday in the Western Cornbelt, a few live purchases traded from 94.00-95.00 with the bulk of dressed purchases at 150.00. Last week in Kansas live purchases traded at 105.00 on a light test.
