Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Monday, trade was limited on light to moderate demand in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. In Nebraska a few early live purchases traded from 119.00-120.00 with a few dressed purchases at 190.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few early dressed purchases traded from 180.00-190.00. Trade was inactive on light demand in the Southern Plains. Not enough purchases in any feeding region for an adequate market test. The latest established market in any feeding region was last week with live purchases in the Southern Plains from 110.00-120.00. Last week in Nebraska the bulk of purchases traded mostly at 110.00 and 180.00. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt, live purchases traded from 105.00-115.00 and dressed purchases from 180.00-185.00.
