Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading has been slow with moderate demand. In Nebraska, compared to the last reported live market on Wednesday, live purchases traded steady to 2.00 lower at 121.00 and dressed purchases, compared to last week, traded 4.00 lower at 192.00. In the Western Cornbelt, compared to the last reported live market on Wednesday, live purchases traded 1.00-2.00 lower from 121.00-122.00 and dressed purchases, compared to last week, traded 2.00-4.00 lower at 192.00. Thus far for Thursday in Colorado negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Compared to last week live purchases traded 1.00-2.00 lower at 121.00. So far for Thursday in the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been inactive on very light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported live trade with the Texas Panhandle at 120.00 and Kansas from 118.00-120.00.
