Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Texas Panhandle with live purchases steady to 4.00 lower compared to the last reported market on Tuesday from 116.00-120.00. In Kansas, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand with live purchases steady compared to Tuesday from 119.00-120.00. Negotiated cash trading in Nebraska has been slow on light demand with live and dressed purchases at 120.00 and 191.00, steady with the last reported market on Tuesday. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand with a few live and dressed purchases at 120.00 and 191.00, however not enough for a full market trend. In the Western Cornbelt last week live and dressed purchases traded at 120.00 and from 188.00-191.00 respectively. In Colorado, negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand, not enough purchases for a full market trend. Last week in Colorado live and dressed purchases traded at 120.00 and 191.00, respectively, on a very light test.
