Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM, USDA reported Wednesday in the Texas Panhandle negotiated cash trading and demand have been moderate. In Kansas negotiated cash trading has been slow on moderate demand. Compared to last week in both regions live purchases have traded steady to 2.00 lower at 120.00. So far for Wednesday in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. In Nebraska a few dressed purchases traded from 198.00-202.00. In the Western Cornbelt a few live purchases traded at 125.00 and a few dressed purchases traded from 200.00-202.00. However, not enough purchases in either region for a full market trend. For the prior week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 125.00-126.50 and at 198.00, respectively. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 124.00-126.00 and from 197.00-202.00, respectively.
