Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Southern Plains and Nebraska, negotiated cash trading has been moderate with very good demand. In the Texas Panhandle, compared to the last reported market on Tuesday, live purchases traded 3.00-5.00 higher at 140.00. In Kansas, compared to last week, live purchases traded 7.00 higher at 140.00. In Nebraska, compared to the last live market on Tuesday, live purchases traded 2.00 higher from 138.00-139.00. Not enough dressed for a full market trend. Last week dressed purchases traded at 210.00. Thus far for Wednesday in Colorado and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive with light demand. Not enough purchases in either region for a market trend. In the Western Cornbelt on Tuesday live purchases traded from 136.00-138.00. Not enough dressed for a full market trend. Last week dressed purchases traded at 210.00. In Colorado last week live purchases traded from 132.00-135.00.
