Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand in the Texas Panhandle with a few early live purchases at 135.00, however not enough for a market trend. Last week live purchases traded at 136.00. In Nebraska, negotiated cash trading was limited on light demand with a few live purchases steady with Monday at 135.00. Not enough dressed purchases for a market trend. Last week dressed purchases traded at 218.00. Negotiated cash mostly inactive on light demand in Kansas and the Western Cornbelt. Not enough purchases in either region for a market trend. Last week in Kansas live purchases traded from 136.00-138.00. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 138.00 and from 217.00-218.00, respectively.
