Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday in the Southern Plains, negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Live purchases traded steady with Tuesday at 135.00. In Nebraska negotiated cash trading has been slow on moderate demand. Dressed purchases, when compared to last week, traded steady to 1.00 lower from 217.00-218.00. Not enough live purchases for a market trend. Tuesday live purchases traded at 135.00. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited with light to moderate demand. Not enough purchases in any price range for a full market trend. For the previous week live and dressed purchases traded at 138.00 and from 217.00-218.00, respectively.
