Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Southern Plains. Compared to last week in the Texas Panhandle live purchases have traded steady at 140.00. Compared to last week in Kansas live purchases have traded steady to 1.00 higher at 140.00. Negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand in Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Last week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 138.00-140.00 and at 222.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt last week live and dressed purchases traded at 140.00 and from 220.00-222.00, respectively.
