Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading in Nebraska has been light to moderate on moderate demand with dressed purchases 2.00 higher compared to last week at 224.00. Not enough live purchases for a market trend. The last reported live market in Nebraska was on Wednesday with live purchases at 140.00. Negotiated cash trading in the Western Cornbelt has been limited on light demand with a few live purchases from 141.00-142.00, however not enough for a market trend. Last week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 140.00 and from 220.00-222.00, respectively. Negotiated cash trading in the Southern Plains has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. The last reported market in the Southern Plains was on Wednesday with live purchases at 140.00.
