Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading in the Southern Plains has been slow on light to moderate demand with live purchases 2.00 lower compared to last week at 140.00. Negotiated cash trading in Nebraska has been limited on light demand with a few live purchases at 140.00, however not enough purchases for a market trend. Last week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 142.00-144.00 and at 227.00, respectively. Negotiated cash trading in the Western Cornbelt has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Last week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 144.00 and 227.00, respectively.
