Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Thursday, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases for a full market trend. Wednesday was the reported market in these regions. In Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded at 138.00 and 220.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 138.00-140.00 and 219.00-222.00, respectively. So far for Thursday in the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. In the Texas Panhandle on Tuesday live purchases traded at 138.00. In Kansas on Wednesday live purchases traded at 138.00.
