Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Southern Plains with live purchases steady compared to the last reported market on Tuesday at 138.00. Negotiated cash trading in Nebraska has been moderate on good demand with live purchases steady with the last reported market on Tuesday at 138.00 and dressed purchases steady with last week at 221.00. Negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand in the Western Cornbelt with a few dressed purchases at 221.00, however not enough for a market trend. Last week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 140.00-142.00 and at 222.00, respectively.
