Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow to moderate with good demand. In Nebraska live purchases traded steady from 138.00-140.00 when compared to the last reported market on Wednesday. Dressed purchases, compared to last week, traded 1.00 higher at 222.00. In the Western Cornbelt, compared to last week, live purchases traded 1.00-2.00 higher from 140.00-143.00. Not enough dressed purchases for a market trend. Last week dressed purchases traded from 221.00-225.00. In the Southern Plains negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive with light demand. Not enough purchases for a market trend. Wednesday was the last reported market with live purchases at 138.00.
