Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Tuesday in Kansas, negotiated cash trading has been active with good demand. Compared to last week live purchases traded 1.00 higher at 139.00. In the Texas Panhandle, Northern Plains and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand. In Nebraska and Western Cornbelt a few live purchases traded at 142.00. However, not enough purchases in any of these regions for a full market trend.

Last week in the Texas Panhandle and Colorado live purchases traded at 138.00. In Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 138.00-140.00 and dressed at 222.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 140.00 and at 222.00, respectively.
