Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on light demand in the Texas Panhandle, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt. In Kansas and Colorado negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill. Not enough purchases in any region for a market trend. In the Southern Plains the last reported market was on Wednesday with live purchases at 139.00. In Nebraska the last reported dressed market was on Wednesday with purchases at 226.00. Tuesday was the last reported live purchase market with purchases from 140.00-142.00. In the Western Cornbelt the last reported market was on Wednesday with live and dressed purchases at 143.00 and at 226.00, respectively. In Colorado the last reported market was on Tuesday with live purchases from 140.00-142.00.
