Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, trade was light to moderate on moderate demand in the Southern Plains and Nebraska. Compared to last week in the Texas Panhandle, early live purchases traded steady at 138.00. In Kansas compared to last week, early live purchases traded steady to 1.00 higher at 138.00. In Nebraska early live purchases traded steady to 3.00 higher form 145.00-151.00 compared to last week with dressed purchases steady at 234.00. Trade was limited on moderate demand in Colorado and the Western Cornbelt. Not enough purchases in those regions for an adequate market test. The latest established market in Colorado was last week, live purchases traded at 145.00. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 145.00-150.00 and 234.00-240.00, respectively.
