Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Thursday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Southern Plains, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt. Compared to last week in the Southern Plains live purchases traded 2.00 higher at 150.00, on a light test. In Nebraska a few live and dressed purchases traded at 152.00 and at 240.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt a few live and dressed purchases traded from 151.00-152.00 and at 240.00, respectively. However, not enough purchases in either of these regions for a full market trend. For the prior week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded from 150.00-152.00 and at 236.00, respectively. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 150.00 and from 232.00-236.00, respectively.
