Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Thursday in the Texas Panhandle, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt, negotiated cash trading and demand has been light. In the Texas Panhandle a few live purchases traded at 149.00. In Nebraska a few live purchases traded from 153.00-153.50. In the Western Cornbelt a few live purchases traded from 153.00-154.00. In Kansas negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on very light demand. However, not enough purchase in any region for a full market trend. The last reported market was on Wednesday in all regions. In the Southern Plains live purchases traded at 150.00. In Nebraska and the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded at 153.00 and 242.00, respectively.
