Slaughter Cattle:
As of 3:00 PM Wednesday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Texas Panhandle. Compared to last week live purchases traded steady at 150.00. In Kansas and Nebraska negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. A few live purchases in Kansas traded at 150.00. In Nebraska a few live purchases traded at 153.00. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been mostly inactive on light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. Last week in Kansas live purchases traded at 150.00. For the prior week in Nebraska live and dressed purchases traded at 153.00 and at 242.00, respectively. For the previous week in the Western Cornbelt live and dressed purchases traded from 153.00-154.00 and from 240.00-242.00, respectively.
