Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday, negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand in the Southern Plains, Nebraska and Western Cornbelt. In the Texas Panhandle, compared to last week, live purchases traded 1.00 lower at 155.00, on a light test. In Kansas, compared to the last reported market on Thursday, live purchases traded steady at 155.00. Not enough purchases in Nebraska and Western Cornbelt for a full market trend. Thursday was the last reported market in Nebraska with live and dressed purchases trading at 155.00 and at 248.00, respectively. In the Western Cornbelt the latest established market was last week with live purchases at 158.00 and dressed purchases from 250.00-252.00.
