Fed Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM, Wednesday trade was moderate to active on good demand in the Southern Plains. Compared to last week in the Southern Plains live purchases traded 1.00 lower at 163.00. In Nebraska trade was moderate on good demand. Compared to last week in Nebraska, early live purchases traded steady at 164.00. Compared to last week, early dressed purchases traded 1.00 higher at 265.00. In the Western Cornbelt trade was slow on moderate demand. A few early live purchases were reported from 165.00-165.50 with a few early dressed purchases at 265.00, however not enough for an adequate market test. The latest established market in the Western Cornbelt was last week with live purchases mostly from 164.00-165.00 with dressed purchases mostly at 264.00.
