Agriculture Commissioner Miller Issues Statement on House Interim Charges (11/4/2015)

AUSTIN - Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller today released the following statement regarding the House Interim Charges released by Speaker Joe Straus.

“I’m pleased that Speaker Straus and the members of the Texas House of Representatives are focused on issues important to the future of agriculture, the Texas economy and the daily lives of rural Texans as we begin to lay the groundwork for the 85th Legislative Session. From addressing our state’s ongoing water needs to promoting Texas-made products to improving rural infrastructure and access to health care, there is much to be done to ensure Texas remains a beacon of opportunity for families and agricultural producers. I look forward to working with the members of the Texas Legislature to ensure these important items are addressed in 2017.”
