SID MILLER PRAISES ABBOTT FOR THC EXECUTIVE ORDER
Governor Greg Abbott deserves praise for protecting minors from THC products while respecting the rights of responsible, law-abiding adults. Protecting our kids and defending our freedoms do not need to be at odds. I've always supported cracking down on intoxicating THC products sold over the counter without age limits, and I'm pleased to see the Governor’s Executive Order offer common-sense solutions.  [More]

COMMISSIONER SID MILLER ADVOCATES FOR PUBLIC COMMENT SUBMISSIONS ON RESTORING AMERICAN SEAFOOD COMPETITIVENESS
Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller highlighted an opportunity to shape the future of our American seafood industry. COMMISSIONER MILLER ACTIVATES EMERGENCY RESPONSE TO PROTECT TEXAS COTTON AND ORNAMENTAL INDUSTRIES FROM NEW INVASIVE PEST
Today, Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) announced immediate action in response to detections of the cotton jassid, also known as the two-spotted leafhopper (Amrasca biguttula), on hibiscus plants shipped into Texas from Costa Farms Nursery and its subsidiaries in Florida.  [More]
