Commissioner Sid Miller Declares Agricultural Emergency in Response to Catastrophic Flooding Across Texas
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller today declared an Agricultural Emergency for 59 counties devastated by catastrophic flooding across Central and South Texas. Texas Agricultural Finance Authority Awards Nearly $22.5 Million Through AgLink Continuity Grant Program to Strengthen Texas Agricultural Supply Chain
Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller today announced the recipients of the AgLink Continuity Grant Program. Commissioner Sid Miller Renews Call for Special Session to Protect Texas Agriculture from Unchecked Data Center Growth
Commissioner Miller said the Governor has the authority to bring lawmakers back to Austin immediately but has failed to make the issue a priority. "The Governor has called special sessions over issues he believes are urgent. If protecting the land that feeds America, safeguarding our electric grid, and preserving Texas' water supply aren't urgent, I don't know what is," Commissioner Miller said.  [More]
