Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Monday, negotiated cash trading has been at a standstill in the Southern Plains and Nebraska. In the Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been inactive on very light demand. Not enough trades for a market trend. Last week in the Southern Plains and Nebraska live cash trades moved at 122.00 In Nebraska dressed cash trades moved at 195.00 for the prior week. In the Western Cornbelt live cash trades moved from 122.00-123.00 and the bulk of dressed cash trades moved from 194.00-195.00.

Select and Choice chuck and round cuts steady to weak while loin cuts weak to lower. Choice rib cuts steady while Select sharply lower. Beef trimmings unevenly steady on light demand and offerings.
