Slaughter Cattle:

As of 3:00 PM Friday in Nebraska, negotiated cash trading has been moderate with light to moderate demand. Live purchases moved 0.50 higher at 106.50 when compared to the last reported market on Thursday. Not enough dressed purchases for a market trend. The last reported dressed purchase market was on Thursday at 169.00. So far for Friday in Colorado negotiated cash trading has been slow on light demand. Compared to last week live purchases moved steady to 0.50 higher at 106.50. Thus far for Friday in the Southern Plains and Western Cornbelt negotiated cash trading has been limited on light demand. Not enough purchases in these regions for a market trend. In the Southern Plains the last reported market was on Wednesday with live purchases at 106.00. In the Western Cornbelt the last reported market was on Thursday with live purchases from 107.00 to 109.00 and dressed at 169.00.
